Joseph asks…
Does your wedding ring/ rings have just clear gemstones (diamonds or cz), colored gems or both?
Will you be adding any gems to your ring? Will it include color? What do you thing about color in the wedding bands?
crystal power answers:
I think people should get whatever they like as their wedding bands. I have a single diamond, not too big, I think it’s a 1/4 or 1/3. And we have matching weave bands, or did until I lost mine. I wear my husbands now. It is too small for him. I LOVE it. ANd we get compliments all the time.

Steven asks…
Can you reset stones in titanium rings?
Does anyone know if you can reset gemstones into a titanium ring? I have a CZ diamond, but I want to put a natural chocolate diamond in it. Is this even possible to do that with a titanium ring?
crystal power answers:
It is possible to reset stones in a Titanium Band/Ring, but it takes a specialized jeweler to do so. It requires a special machine to do so.
Research your jewelers. I know in the Downtown Los Angeles area there are a few that do so.
Depending on where you are located, if you have a major cty with a jewelry district, that is your best bet.

Michael asks…
Anyone knows about spiritual consequences of mixing gemstones on a golden ring?
I have a gold ring and I want to put a star sapphire, a ruby and a diamond on it. Do those stones match each other or will some negative energy occur by mixing them?
crystal power answers:
Wow, I can not believe how rude some people are!
Traditionally all stones have been believed to have some sort of healing or spiritual affect. Whether or not this is true is not the question, it is what people believe.
I am very disappointed in the answers you received from other people.
To answer your question,
Ruby:
For a long time India was considered as the classical source of rubies. In the Sanskrit language ruby is called “ratnaraj”, which translates as “King of Gemstones”.
In ancient times one of the chief attractions of ruby has been its protection from misfortune and bad health.
In Antiquity, as well as in the Middle Ages people believed that the cosmos is reflected in gemstones. The ruby is assigned to the planets Mars and Pluto. The esoteric movement revived the ancient belief and the gem industry made it another marketing tool to promote certain gems.
The healing powers of gems remain a controversial issue, but are mentioned for centuries by healers, shamans and medicine men. Whether it’s a fact or a placebo effect doesn’t matter, if it helps. The safest approach is to wear the gemstone in skin contact to the troubled part of the body. Ruby is said to be a general health protection and a help for backache and toenail problems.
Sapphire:
Sapphire is the birthstone for those who are born in September. As for the Zodiac, it is regarded as the stone for the Taurus. If a Taurus wears a sapphire, it will protect one from and cure one’s mental disorders.
Through history, sapphire symbolizes truth, sincerity, and faithfulness in relationships, and to bring peace, joy and wisdom to the wearer and owner. In the past, the sapphire was also believed to be a talisman that would protect you against evil spirits and other unsavory creatures of the night. The ancients regarded star sapphires as a powerful talisman protecting travelers and seekers. They were so powerful, they would continue protecting the wearer even after being passed on to another person.
Abbes Hildegard von Bingen (1098-1179) chronicled the healing powers of gemstones in her book Physica. According to her view, gemstone are formed through the powerful combination of water and fire, therefore they hold powers corresponding to these phenomena. She also believed that each stone had a certain, divine blessing from God. She said this about sapphire: Who is dull and would like to be clever, should, in a sober state, frequently lick with the tongue on a sapphire, because the gemstone’s warmth and power, combined with the saliva’s moisture, will expel the harmful juices that affect the intellect. Thus, the man will attain a good intellect.
I am not sure of the history of Diamond in mythology, but I would imagine that white diamonds, pink diamonds, blue diamonds, green diamonds, etc, would all have their own belief history.
I see know reason why mixing gemstone would create a feeling of negative energy as they each bring their own benefits….
When it comes to mixing the stones in a presentational matter… This may be difficult.
Are you looking to have a blue star sapphire or another colour?
What about diamonds? Are you looking for white or fancy colours?
And after these decisions, you must not mix red in the mix.
I would suggest a star sapphire center, two ruby accents on each side with a diamond accent band.
We have a blue grey (untreated-very rare) star sapphire, as well as accent side (untreated or treated -both acceptable) rubys, and smaller accent sized diamonds for below retail prices (www.rocksdiamonddeals.net).
We could also have a ring mount made for you if you already have the stones ready.
Please let me know if you have any more questions, or would like some more advise.
You can email me, Patience, at sales@rocksdiamonddeals.net.
Thank you, and good luck

Chris asks…
What kind of engagement rings do you like?
What is your favorite kind of engagement ring? What shape, gemstone, color, size, style of setting, metal do you like? Mine is a round 1.5 carat diamond with a simple gold band and wedding band, which i like, but I think Britney Spear’s probably fits my taste the best. Here’s a pic:
http://www.ziamond.com/brspinenri.html
She may not have had good taste in men, but she had great taste in rings!
crystal power answers:
I have slender fingers, small hands. So a big stone would look a bit unbalanced on me. Good thing, I guess ![]()
I like about a half carat, which is what I’m getting in a few months
the setting has 7 small diamonds on either side of the center one.
And I like palladium rings. Not as expensive as platinum, but 100% hypoallergenic.
I like round diamond cuts
funny that you should post a link to ziamond. Because I’m not a diamond kinda girl. I’m a cubic zirconia kind of girl. I don’t like the idea of my honey spending a ton. Especially when a high quality ziamond looks exactly like a diamond
