B. Because in a chemical change a new substance is formed and energy is given off. B is the most correct because the new substance has differnt properties to those of the original elements involved. It is not A or C because heating water absorbs and releases energy, yet the change from water to steam isnt a chemical reaction. D is wrong because the fact that they have different bonding doesnt mean that it is a chemical change. E.g water is bonded in a lattice when it is ice but it is also a gas when it is steam. Melting the ice and turning it to steam doesnt change the fact that it is water.

Crystals and their meanings?
I’m interested in wearing crystals for the purpose of their healing properties and how they work with different chakras depending on the crystal.
Does anybody have a list of the different crystals and their meanings (or recommendation of which crystal to get).
I’m looking for something that can work with masculine energy, boost my confidence and attractive energy. What would work good with that.

I recommend quartz and amythest crystals to wear. Also i think you might ancient egyptian things, like say the ankh, eye of horus, etc. You can make these necklaces on your own, same goes with crystals. Also wearing feathers are cool too. I think feathers have healing powers as well. I don’t have any sites to recommend. I just know from personal experience quartz and amythest are great crystals.

i need some information on crystals, please.?
i’m just now looking at crystals and getting into them.. thinking about adding some to my home, maybe even in my office at work, etc. i had never realized that they have energy and metaphysical properties.. i thought people just bought them because they were pretty! (hey, i’m only 24, i’ve still got a lot to learn) 
im seeing a lot of astrological information that goes with these crystals… does that mean that that particular crystal only “works” with a person of that astrological sign?? i don’t understand it.
also, what are the best/ most popular crystals, and does anyone have a short breakdown on what each crystal is used for? any information at all would be helpful! Thank you!!

Merry Meet.. And welcome..There are many different things you can use each crystal for… And yes your sign does make the energy stronger for some crystals but that doesn’t mean it won’t “work” if its not your signs crystal.

What would happen if water was frozen in an unbreakable container?
Basically I’m interested in the physical properties of water that is frozen yet not allowed to expand. My gut notion is that the crystals would simply pack tighter together, thus giving the resultant ice the same density as the original water. Or would the ice then be storing energy from the compression that would be released as heat and motion upon release? Would the water go through a longer and more stable period of super-cooling? Would more heat need to be released for the ice to freeze under these extreme conditions? Has this experiment ever been tried?

The phase of the H2O would change with it’s phase diagram in accordance with whatever temperature and pressure it is under at any given time.
While I’m not 100% sure, I would hypothesize that the increased pressure caused by the expansion of the water as it expands into ice would tend to force it to remain water. At the same time, the dropping temperature would tend to force it to solidify, even if more tightly packed. Depending on how much water you have and what it’s surface area is (which will be the primary factor in determining the pressure) and how cold you make it, it might just remain liquid water or it might form more tightly packed ice crystals.
If it were to remain water even when super-cooled, then once you open the container, it would freeze very quickly as the pressure drops.

what kind of benefits does crystal quartz bring? I’ve heard many people place this in their home or placing 4 crystals around the permiter of their property when trying to sell so that it attracts a positive/loving energy to people who drive by.
Is this true? What kind of effect does it have if you carry a gem in your pocket or a pendant around your neck???
