What colour lipstick would go best with emerald green?
The dress is emerald green with black lace at the top and bottom and I’m wearing black eye liner and black shoes. I’m going for a classic look but I’m not sure if red lipstick is too much with emerald green.

It would look stunning, try a blue based shades, here’s some recomenations.
Lipsticks (full on red lips) MAC’s Russian Red or MAC Red, Revlons Matte lipstick in Really Red, Rimmel’s Temptation, NARS’s Scarlet Empress
or if you wanted a more toned down look you could go for something like Revlon’s Lip Butter in Candy Apple, Korres Lip Butter in Wild Rose, or a lipgloss like MAC lipglass in Russian Red, Lusterglass in Venitian. these would give you a more sheer red so it would be less full on and strong.
Or Try a stain like Benefit’s BeneTint, Maybelline Shy Red or Revlon Just Bitten in Gothic.
A great alternative to a red is Revlons’ Cherries in the Snow, a beautiful red-pink, kind of watermelon-cherry colour it would still look very classic but it would be a bit more modern.
personally I’d advise you to go for red, Emerald Green, Black Lace, Winged out Liner and Red lips would a beautiful classy combination for an event, keep your blush quite natural and your eyes toned down and you’ve got this looking PERFECT!.
