Where should I go for a custom ring design?
I want to propose to my girlfriend, but we have both said in the past that normal engagement rings aren’t for us. I’m trying to find a place that will do a 3 stone thin ring, one being a diamond, one being alexandrite (my birth stone) and one being citrine (her birth stone). Anyone have any ideas? It would be much appreciated.

I think that is great that you are thinking outside of the box.
First thing, as far as symmetry goes you may want to do a center diamond with 2 matching on each side, or the center diamond and one of each alexandrite and citrine on each side.
Do some research and call around. Speak with some local jewelers and ask if they create custom rings or purchase loose stones to put in multiple settings.
From there you can do a little more research about different designs, diamond sizes and prices. I would recommend googling GIA diamonds, etc. to get some info before going to the jeweler. Then you can be prepared when you head out!
