Difference between Tourmaline or Ceramic Flat iron and Which is the best?

I would like to know what the difference between a CERAMIC and TOURMALINE flat iron is. I also would like to know what do each do. And which do you recomend I should buy?….
-Which do you use and why?

And what is the best brand of the type of flat iron you recommend?

I actually have owned both kinds… but hopefully this little piece of advise helps you out a bit…

Tourmaline flat irons produce great number of negative ions, which strengthens the hair for long, and also gives a silkier and shinier look. Whereas, the ceramic hair iron does not give as many negative ions as tourmaline flat irons, this is necessary to keep your hair healthy and silky. Since it produces more negative ions, it gives you the smooth, shiny and silky hair that everyone wants to have. Tourmaline flat irons are said to take just 25 seconds to straighten your hair, whereas the ceramic hair irons takes slightly longer time. They are more expensive then the ceramic straighteners, but well worth the money. They won’t damage your hair as much in the long run. The only real plus side to a ceramic straightener is you can use it when you hair is still damp. But ceramic straighteners already take awhile longer to heat up and to straighten, so using it on damp hair just makes the process take even longer.

HAIR DRYER REPAIRS-I have just bought a t3 tourmaline overnight hair dryer, when I first used it, it?

worked ok, second time I used it it seems like the fan has come loose, so when I switch it on the motor runs, but the fan has become loose. I tryed opening it up but have struggled because I dont want to damage the appliance from outside by sticking a screwdriver in the ridges to pull apart. What do you recommend, hope someone can help please.

Most hair dryers have a guarantee of some sort. Don’t try to take it apart as this will null & void any guarantee. Take it back to the store and get a new one. Probably just a fluke.

Tourmaline and garnet can appear very similar. “Garnet” includes a wider variety of specific minerals than “tourmaline” does, so garnets can be more variable in terms of hardness and other characteristics than tourmalines. Their hardnesses overlap (6-7.5 for garnet, 7-7.5 for tourmaline), as do their densities (3.1-4.3 for garnet, 3-3.26 for tourmaline), and they are best distinguished by their optical properties. A jeweler will have the equipment needed to measure these and can tell whether your stone is tourmaline or garnet.

Should I ask for the Solia Tourmaline Ceramic Ion Flat Iron? Is it a nice flat iron?

I have read the reviews for it and it seems to be the best out there.
What are your opinions of it?
I have blonde/straightish hair, in the middle between thick and thin type of hair.

THE ABSOLUTE BEST STRAIGHTNER IN THE WORLLLLD!!!

-well i just got mine a month or two ago and i have very thick, frizzy, long curlly hair….. this works wonders but it keeps my hair straight not frizzy and silky all day long

i was deceideing on the CHI or Solia when i was getting a new one i finally decdeied ont eh Solia and i am so proud it is wonderfullll
