What kind of stone looks like a pearl or an opal but as a little star in it when the light reflects off of it?

My mother gave me a ring that she got for her 16th birthday and then stone fell out.

I’ve been looking for a similar ring or then name of the stone for several years now.

it looks like a pearl or opal but looks like there is a star in the center not like a traditional star kinda like a starburst. If anyone knows the name of the stone please let me know.

I believe you are looking for a star sapphire. I believe they traditionally are black or blue in color, but I guess there are variations. I will list a link with pictures below.

What video files can I transfer to my RCA OPAL M4208RD player?

I’ve been trying to transfer video files to my OPAL RCA mp3 player, but I get one of the following messages when it tries to convert the file: “Convert failed.” “No codec available”

Is there a specific kind of codec that the mp3 player and the software that converts the file will recognize?

Try this..
The first time you plug it in on the computer it has you install the drivers and stuff.. When that’s complete, you should have an RCA easyrip program or something. on there is a picture of a video camera(if there is none, there’s probably no sense in continuing..if there is a video camera looking thing though, keep reading.). If you go to youtube, or wherever your video is, you can click on that video camera. There’s four little corners, and you have to resize it. The top left corner is for moving it, and the other 3 corners are for the resizing. After that, push the play button on your video and then push the record button on the camera view thing. It records everything shown within the green corners. When the videos are over, push stop recording.. It’ll ask you if you want it on your player, and you can push yes. It takes a few minutes to get on it, but that’s because it has to convert it and then upload. It will then show you your video. The sound is usually a bit sketchy, so when your recording, make sure the video volume (not the computer volume) is very low. That way the sound comes out nice. I did it with charlie the unicorn, charlie bit me, poker face(by lady gaga) and just dance(also by lady gaga) the quality is just as good as it is on the computer. How would a gold and opal necklace have been crefted?

A gold necklace with different shapes linked together with chains, what would be the production process of this? Would a metal cast have been made?

I can’t tell you a whole lot without having seen it.

The bezels may have been cast, or they may have been forged. They could be made out of any metal.

But you can’t cast metal with opal in it. Opal is quartz with water in it and the opal will be destroyed if it’s left under high heat. It also means you don’t want to leave your opal necklace in a hot car.

Of course, I’m guessing this is a real opal necklace, and not a created opal necklace. There are a couple types of created opals and they vary in quality.
