Hello,  I have seen so many different properties listed for Malachite… I am in the midst of bartering for malachite handcrafted jewelry…I need something that is grounding, healing…(stress/anxiety/depression), cleansing, and maybe even protective… I was told by my mentor that hematite and malachite are good ones… Could someone post their interpretations of what Malachite can do for you?

• Hi,  My reading of your energy is that you need lots of rose quartz in your living/working area.. big chunks work very well and it is not terribly expensive ($12/pound rough) twice that as tumbled stones.

Some malachite is fine but not predominately… your resonance will balance better with the rose quartz.

• Hi!  Malachite is a wonderful healing stone. My favorite way to use it is for muscle injuries. It is excellent at extracting the pain from the injury but you must be careful not to overload it. Malachite is very sensitive and it will gladly take on everything you have but, if you do not clear it on a regular basis it will die. Here is the information that I have:

Malachite
A stone of transformation. Equalizing and balancing. Represents fidelity in love, and friendships, loyalty in partnerships and practicality and responsibility in business transactions. Dispels symptoms of vertigo and stimulates awareness of reason for vertigo condition.
Helpful for: asthma, arthritis, tumors, growths, broken bones, and torn muscles. Eases the birth process.

I have also found it very useful for vertigo, but again it needs cleansing/clearing daily or more if necessary. I have a few pieces of malachite and liquid silver jewelry available on my site as well as some very attractive malachite eggs.

This is one of my favorite stones, it resonates with the solar plexus chakra and is a wonderful fear buster, wealth bringer, and it does not accumulate negative energy which means it does not need to be cleared (but it does appreciate it after heavy use). Hi,  I was wondering if anyone has heard of bad energy from wearing a malachite.  I was looking at a web site for crystals and they mentioned negative traits being brought out in some instances from malachites.  Since I am fairly new to learning about crystals, any advice would be helpful. Also, is moss agate beneficial to the wearer for anything other than grounding?  Thanks!

• Hi Kim,  It’s my understanding that malachite serves to accentuate your mood, be it good or bad. Therefore it might not be wise to wear it, or carry it, when you’re in a bad mood.

Moss agate, like malachite, connects you to nature – which might be thought of as grounding.

OK, Moss Agate these come in green and red and look like they have plants inside of them. Fern agates or plume agates and white and green tree agates also belong to moss agates. These stones were considered the most powerful of medicines to one strong and victorious over enemies in Indian lore. They protect against poisonous reptiles and aid in clearing poisons from the body.
These stones were believed to increase longevity and help the wearer ward off bad vibes like self induced anger, bitterness. Moss or fern agate is a cleanser and body strengthener in times of stress.
