What should my pokemon emerald party be?

I’m completely new to the game. i only know the pokemon in red and blue and yellow. what pokemon should i catch in emerald, where do i get them, and what do they evolve into? Thanks in advance.

Starmie: Nature-Modest or Timid
Ability-Natural Cure
Attacks-Ice Beam
Psychic
Thunderbolt
Surf
Starmie has a special attack and speed that can rival Kyogre, and learns a variety or different attacks that can sweep many different types. It evolves when you give staryu a water stone. Staryu can be caught in Lilycove
Defeated by: Dark, Electric, Grass, Bug

Ninetails: Nature-Timid or Modest
Ability-Flash Fire
Attacks-Flamethrower
Heat Wave
Will-O-Wisp
Hidden Power Grass
Also built with a very strong special attak and speed, Ninetails is more keyed to take down other powerful special attackers or Blissey type pokemon with Will-O-Wisp. It evolves when you give vulpix a fire stone. Vulpix can be found on Mt. Pyre.

Salamence: Nature-Adamant
Ability-Intimidate
Attacks- Dragon Claw
Crunch
Hydro Pump
Flamethrower
Salamence was cursed with a high attack stat, and a limited movepool, however, it is incredibly powerful if you put lots of EV’s into special attack, hp, and defence. It evolves from Bagon, which can be found in Meteor Falls.

Metagross: Nature-Adamant
Ability-Clear Body
Attacks-Meteor Mash
Earthquake
Psychic
Explosion
Metagross is a solid wall, it has massive attack and defence stats, and its Steel/Psychic type make it hard to hit effectively. It evolves from Beldum, which can be found on Steven’s desk in Mossdeep city.

Double Team
Raichu has a very high speed and special attack, but moderetly low hp, it’s a hit and run type pokemon, devastating against water and ice types, but it usually can’t take more than a few hits. When its holding a light ball however, the average Raichu can reach 500 special attack. It evolves when you give pikachu a thunderstone, pikachu can be found in the safari zone.

Hidden Power Electric
Heracross has an attack that can pass Metagross by a good hundred, although it has far less special attack. It is mostly a physical sweeping pokemon. Heracross can be found in the safari zone.

How can you tell if a diamond is a real diamond? Would they insert a fake in real gold?

I have a necklace, not sure where I got it but it is 14K gold along with the chain it’s on. It also has a diamond in it but I can’t tell if the diamond is real. I know they have lots of diamonds that are cubic zirconium’s or diamond-aura’s but how can I tell the real thing with the naked eye?
